Tuition Pre-K3 & Pre-K4:

  • 5 Day Schedule: $9,475

  • 3 Day Schedule: $7,400 (MWF)

Tuition K-Grade 5: $6,700

Grades 6-8: $8,250

  • Rate for Graduate of St. Thomas the Apostle: $7,250

A $500 sibling discount will be applied to the second child enrolled in a family, and $250 for third and subsequent children enrolled at St. Thomas & St. Timothy School. See Tuition and Fees for the 2025-2026 School year for more information.

All Tuition and Fee Billing is processed through a third party administrator – FACTS Tuition Management.  A variety of payment plans are offered to meet an individual family’s needs.  An annual Account Administration Fee is charged directly by FACTS to all families for this service. A limited amount of Financial Assistance is available based on demonstrated levels of need. Applications for assistance will only be considered upon acceptance to our school.

St. Timothy Middle School

Before Care Program Fees
7:15-7:45am Monday through Friday… $150/year/day (Total for all 5 days is $750/year)

After Care Program Fees
2:30-5:45pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri…. $400/year/day

1:30-5:45pm Wed.… $400/year/day (Total for all 5 days is $2,000/year)

Before Care - Both Campuses

The St Thomas Before Care program hours are 7:15- 8:00 AM. and the St. Timothy Before Care Program hours are 7:15 - 7:45AM.  Supervised activities in a quiet atmosphere are an essential part of this early morning program.  Additionally, the Before Care program will open 45 minutes before the announced time of school on all late opening days. Registration is required.

After Care - Both Campuses

The After Care program begins each day immediately following school dismissal and continues until 5:45 PM. Students must be previously registered for the program in order to participate.  Activities include homework supervision, arts and crafts, board games, and free play. Weather permitting, children also enjoy outdoor play. An after-school snack is provided at our STA Campus. There is also a designated period of time for homework at both locations.

The After Care program is closed during holidays and teacher in-service days.  If the school is closed due to inclement weather, or another emergency, the After Care program will not be available. Please note that After Care will not be provided on days with noon dismissal.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

St. Thomas & St. Timothy School uses FACTS Grant & Aid Management to help determine a family’s eligibility for tuition assistance.  All applicants for tuition assistance of any kind must apply annually by completing the FACTS Grant & Aid Management application form.  Please contact the business office with questions or for more information: 860-236-6257 or 860-236-0614.

The following Scholarships and Grants are currently available to St. Thomas and St. Timothy School students:

Archbishop’s Annual Appeal

  • Open to students in grades K- 8

  • No residency requirement

  • Household income must be within eligibility limits

  • Typical awards are $500 per student

Children’s Educational Opportunity Foundation of Connecticut (CEO)

Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools (FACS)

The Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools (FACS) has announced the availability of a number of different scholarships for academic year 2025-2026 to Archdiocese of Hartford Catholic Elementary School students.  An electronically fillable scholarship form is attached.  Hard copy applications will also be accepted.  All scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated financial need along with a variety of other guidelines and criteria, the specifics of which are attached to this email.  Please be sure to review these guidelines to determine your eligibility for each scholarship before making your application.

The following is a full list of scholarships available with important (but not all) criteria noted:

Hartford Endowed Scholarship – open to students who are residents of the City of Hartford

Salvatore Robert Verrillo Scholarship – open to families with at least two students enrolled at the same Archdiocesan Catholic elementary school located in Hartford County

St. Mary Scholarship – open to students who are parishioners in good standing of the Annunciation Parish (St. Mary Church or Holy Spirit Church in Newington)

FACS Grant Scholarship – open to students whose parents/guardians are Catholic educators or staff at St. Thomas & St. Timothy School

Michele and Donald D’Amour Scholarship – 2 $500 scholarships open to students of our St. Thomas Campus (grades PreK through 5)

St. Timothy Middle School Scholarship Fund Scholarships – open to 5th grade students moving up to our St. Timothy Campus AND those currently enrolled in grades 6 and 7

St. Timothy Middle School Scholarship Fund Reverend Henry P. Cody Scholarship – a single, full tuition scholarship open to one rising 8th grader of our St. Timothy Campus, upon recommendation by Faculty

FACS 2025-2026 Scholarship Application

Completed applications – along with required supporting documents - are due to the FACS by Friday, March 7, 2025, but in order to allow time for Mrs. DiSanto or Mrs. Kownacki to complete the Principal Certification of each application, we ask that all applications be returned to the Office of either Campus as soon as possible but no later than Friday, February 28, 2025.  We will then hand deliver completed applications to the FACS office by the March 7 deadline.
