Faith

Students benefit from the study of Religion through age appropriate lessons that help them discover the Catholic faith. Teachers incorporate the elements of Catholic Social Teaching into all areas of the curriculum, allowing students to make connections between faith and the world outside our doors.

As a school family, we gather for masses and prayer services throughout the year.  Parents and families are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Students in grade 2 prepare for Reconciliation and First Communion.

We welcome students and families of all faiths and backgrounds. This diversity enriches and strengthens our community and our faith. Masses are celebrated monthly on both campuses at St. Thomas & St. Timothy School.

Service

Sharing our faith through service to others is a common thread woven into every area of the educational experience at St. Thomas & St. Timothy School. It begins with the study of the seven elements of Catholic Social Teaching:  Life and Dignity of the Human Person; Call to Family, Community, and Participation; Rights and Responsibilities; Option for the Poor and Vulnerable; The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers; Solidarity; and The Care of God’s Creation. School-wide service projects are planned throughout the year. Parents and families are encouraged to participate when able to.

In-school and Off-Site Retreats

Throughout the school year, retreat programs hosted by Holy Family staff give students and faculty a break from their daily schedules to reflect on topics concerning them to better align themselves with our Catholic mission.
